When you visit this online offering again, your browser sends the content of the cookies back to the respective provider, enabling the device to be recognized. Reading cookies allows us to optimize our online offering for you and make it easier for you to use.
8.2 Turning off and deleting cookies When you visit our website, you will be asked in a cookie layer pop-up whether you want to allow the cookies that are set on our site or turn them off in the settings. If you choose not to allow cookies, an opt-out cookie will be set in your browser. This cookie is used solely for identifying your objection. However, disabling cookies may result in certain features of our website no longer being available to you. Please note that for technical reasons, an opt-out cookie can only be used by the browser in which it was set. If you delete cookies or use a different browser or device, you will need to opt out again. The setting option does not affect cookies set by other providers during your visit to third-party websites. However, you can delete all cookies at any time using your browser. Please refer to your browser’s help function for instructions. This may also result in certain features no longer being available to you.
9. Use of Retargeting Tools
9.1 To optimize our online marketing, we use retargeting technologies. This is intended to make the Internet offer more interesting and tailored to your needs.
9.2 By using cookies, in which your interest in our products and services is stored, as well as by analyzing your usage behavior, we can provide you with personalized and interest-based advertising on the websites of our retargeting partners such as Google AdWords. However, this is done anonymously, so that you cannot be identified through retargeting.
9.3 If you do not want Delari GmbH and its retargeting partners to use the relevant retargeting cookies, please follow point 8.2.
10. Use of Conversion Tracking
10.1 To make our online offering as attractive as possible for our users, we use the so-called conversion tracking.
10.2 Our conversion tracking partners, such as Google AdWords, use a cookie for this analysis service on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you have accessed our website via an advertisement from the respective partner. These cookies expire after 30 days. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and the respective conversion tracking partner can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our site. The cookies cannot be tracked on our website. The information obtained through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics and to determine the total number of users who clicked on the relevant ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, this is done anonymously, so that you cannot be identified through conversion tracking.
10.3 If you do not want Delari GmbH and its conversion tracking partners to use the relevant conversion cookies, please follow point 8.2.
11. Use of Analytical Tools
11.1 For the websites, Bosch Power Tools carries out access measurements with web analysis tools such as WebTrends and Tealium.
11.2 When selecting the analysis tools, we ensure that these access data are recorded exclusively in an anonymous form so that no connection to a user can be made. This is done in particular by anonymizing the IP address. Cookies are used for measurement in order to enable the analysis of website usage. In particular, Delari GmbH can improve data quality.
11.3 If you do not want the relevant analysis cookies to be used, please follow point 8.2.”
12. Use of Social Plugins
12.1 Delari GmbH uses social plugins of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+ on its websites and mobile applications. These are buttons such as the “Facebook Like button”.
12.2 With the so-called 2-click method, we protect you from your visit to our websites being automatically recorded and evaluated by social network providers. If you access a page of our website that contains such plugins, they are initially deactivated. Only when you click the button provided, the plugins are activated. With this activation, you establish a connection to the respective social network and declare your consent to the transmission of your data. When you click the respective button, the corresponding information is directly transmitted from your browser to the respective social network and stored there. If you want to stop the transmission, you must deactivate the plugin again.
12.3 If you are logged in to a social network, it can also link the visit to your account there. If you do not want the relevant social network to link the data collected during your visit with your stored member data, you must log out of the respective network before activating the social plugin button.
13. Social Sign In (registration via social networks)
We offer you the possibility to register in our online offer with so-called social sign-ins such as Facebook Connect and Twitter. For registration, you will be redirected to the page of the respective social network where you can log in with your data there. This results in your account of the respective network being linked to our service. In doing so, the information from your public profile there, your email address, and the identification codes of your network friends, as well as any other data, are transmitted to us by the relevant social network. Conversely, the social network provider or its server may be located outside the EU or EEA (e.g., in the USA). If you do not want data to be transmitted between us and the social networks, do not register via the social registration services, but instead use our own registration services.
15.1 Newsletter with registration; right of revocation You can subscribe to newsletters as part of our online offer. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure, according to which we will only send you a newsletter by email, mobile messaging services (such as WhatsApp), SMS or push notification after you have expressly confirmed the activation of the newsletter service by clicking on a link in a notification. Your IP address will be stored as proof of your consent given. If you later decide against receiving newsletters, you can cancel the subscription at any time by revoking your consent. The revocation can be made for email newsletters via the link printed in the newsletter or in the administrative settings of the respective online offer. Alternatively, please contact us using the information in the contact section.
We offer you the opportunity to become a member of one of our Bosch Power Tools communities (such as the BoB or MyBosch community). There, you can register, create a user profile, and communicate with other members. We only use the data generated by you there within the scope of the consent declaration granted by you for the respective marketing, market research, and service purposes. You can revoke this consent at any time. Via an input mask in the respective community, you have the option to choose whether individual information from your user profile should be made public to all members of the community or only to your “community friends” or kept private. All other data that you generate in the communities, for example by creating comments or pictures, is automatically publicly accessible and linked to your user profile.
17. External Links
Our online offer may contain links to third-party websites - providers not affiliated with us. After clicking on the link, we no longer have any influence on the collection, processing, and use of any personal data transferred to the third party by clicking on the link (such as the IP address or the URL of the page on which the link is located), since the behavior of third parties is naturally beyond our control. We do not assume any responsibility for the processing of such personal data by third parties.
Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the provisions of the applicable data protection laws. We take all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure an appropriate level of protection and to protect your data managed by us, in particular, from the risks of accidental or unlawful destruction, manipulation, loss, alteration or unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access. Our security measures are constantly being improved in line with technological developments.
